FIELD NOTE

How The Blog Note researches, reviews and publishes.

Trust is more valuable than a click. These standards apply to reporting, analysis, comparisons, reviews, original research and sponsored work published by The Blog Note.

Evidence before certainty

We distinguish between facts, analysis, estimates, and opinion. Claims that depend on current product behavior, market conditions, laws, platform policies, or performance data should be checked against current sources or first-party testing.

Reviews and commercial relationships

A sponsor, advertiser, affiliate partner, software vendor, or consulting client does not get to purchase an editorial conclusion. When compensation or a commercial relationship could matter to the reader, we disclose it.

Corrections

If a material factual error is identified, we correct the article and, when appropriate, note the correction. Readers and companies may send supporting documentation through the contact page.

AI-assisted work

AI may be used to accelerate research organization, transcription, analysis, coding, or drafting. Publication decisions remain editorial decisions. Material claims should be supported by evidence, and AI output is not treated as a source simply because a model generated it.

Original research

When we publish first-party datasets, scans, surveys, market mining, or tests, we aim to describe the sample, methodology, limitations, and date of collection clearly enough for a reader to understand what the result does—and does not—prove.
