Schema Markup Checker

JSON-LD AUDIT

Inspect schema on a live page

Extract JSON-LD blocks, identify types, validate JSON and flag common missing fields.

The server fetches the public URL only to generate this result. No login or private-page access is attempted.

The Schema Markup Checker extracts JSON-LD from a public web page, identifies the schema types present and checks the markup for basic structural problems.

What the schema checker analyzes

The tool looks for application/ld+json blocks, parses the JSON, identifies @type values and flags invalid blocks. For common schema types such as Article, BlogPosting, Organization, LocalBusiness, Product, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList and WebSite, it also checks for several frequently expected properties.

What a clean result means

A clean structural result means the JSON-LD parsed and the tool did not find one of the common field gaps it knows to test. It does not mean Google will display a rich result. Search engines apply their own eligibility rules, content policies and feature availability.

Schema should describe visible reality

Structured data should reinforce what a user can actually see and verify on the page. Adding a schema type is not a substitute for useful content, clear authorship, real reviews, accurate business information or a visible FAQ.

When to use this tool

Use the checker after a theme change, plugin migration, schema-template edit or major content update. It is also useful when two SEO plugins may be outputting duplicate entities or when a site appears to have malformed JSON-LD.

Run the SEO & GEO Page Analyzer to see schema in the context of the whole page. Use the Website Indexability Checker if the larger issue is whether the URL can be indexed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Google Rich Results Test?

No. This tool is a fast JSON-LD structure audit. Google’s own test is still the authority for Google-specific rich-result eligibility.

Can valid schema improve rankings by itself?

Schema can improve machine understanding and can support eligible search features, but valid markup by itself is not a ranking strategy.
